Immediate Casualty Care 1 Class

Recent events across the country from natural disasters to horrendous tragedies have once again proven the need for citizens to become proficient in immediate casualty care. As a result, Iowa Firearms Coalition has leveraged our extensive network of professional contacts to provide an Immediate Casualty Care 1 course on December 16th and 17th. This course will be open to everyone, whether you’re a firearm owner or not. Rather than trying to limit individual freedoms and push silly, ineffective bans (as some organizations and legislators are actively trying to do), the Iowa Firearms Coalition is putting proven, life-saving skills into the hands of responsible Iowans.

This course is specifically designed to give you the skills needed to stop life-threatening bleeding and chest wounds. Students will receive Stop the Bleed training as well as Tactical Combat Casualty Care training that’s been developed specifically for U.S. military forces deployed around the world. This is not your typical first-aid course. Participants will walk away with the knowledge needed to save lives.

These sessions will be offered at CrossRoads Shooting Sports and Cedar Valley Outfitters. Both of these are valuable, long-time IFC partners and do an excellent job providing quality training to the people of Iowa. Final course details will be released soon. In the meantime, mark your calendars for December 16th and 17th!
