ATF doesn’t make laws. But they abuse their authority routinely by implementing rules and regulations. ATF recognized pistol braces for years and even gave expressed written “permission” to manufacture, distribute, and sell them. Handicapped shooters and able-bodied folks alike enjoyed the use of their weapons all the while. Soon, ATF will be arbitrarily declaring an “accessory” that does nothing to the rate of fire, change lethality, or alter the function of the weapon.
