SSB1017 – School Parking Lot Bill

This bill decriminalizes lawful carry on school grounds was introduced and assigned to a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee this morning.SSB1017 restores the right of a person with a valid Permit to Carry to be in possession of firearm while picking up and dropping off their children at school without having to risk committing a felony.

SF13Gun Free Zone Bill

Senator Joe Bolkcom has proposed SF13, the Gun Free Zone Bill to criminalize people who are otherwise lawfully in possession of a concealed weapon in a place of business with a posted “No Weapons” sign. This is one more measure designed to discourage concealed carry and chip away at the rights of Iowans. IFC is registered against this bill.

HF-11 – Civil Liabilities Against Gun Owners
