Last night was a good night for NRA backed candidates. They won a historic number of races around the country. Americans sent a strong message to Michael Bloomberg, Gabby Giffords, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, and every other gun control pusher: no more gun control! Special congrats to Joni Ernst and David Young who fended off the anti-gun crowd’s millions of dollars in attacks and will soon represent Iowans. From the NRA’s Political Victory Fund:
As a result of the NRA’s efforts in the 2014 elections, NRA-PVF endorsed candidates won hard-fought victories in Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Dakota and West Virginia. The NRA was pivotal in re-electing pro-gun governors in Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Texas and Wisconsin, and in ousting a Bloomberg-backed anti-gun governor in Maryland. In addition, the NRA had great success in races for the U.S. House, including significant victories in AR-2, CO-6, FL-26, IA-3, NH-1, and VA-10, among many others.
