I just watched the video on VAWA & messaged Senators Grassley & Ernst.
FYI, I emailed them several months ago not to support this bill & explained my reasoning regarding the Red Flag portion as written. I received a reply from Senator Ernst maintaining her steadfast support for the bill. When I tried to reply it would not let me.
Senator Grassley’s reply was a canned response not stating his position which told me he was for it.
I have supported both senators up until there position on the VAWA bill but I’m having second thoughts going forward.
