HF2455 passed the Senate yesterday afternoon. 48-1 in the Senate. This bill allows the use of leashed dogs to track and retrieve wounded deer. This has been a long time coming.

I’m amazed that this was not legal in the first place. What is the history behind the prohibition of tracking a wounded deer with a dog? I’d think that would be “normal” in the first place.
